The solution developed by IPcom Technologies provides the roamer with a similar environment he has at his home network, enabling the use of more services in order to challenge consumption.

A roamer shall be able to call his contacts as he does at home, dialing directly from his phonebook, with no need to add international outbound prefixes and his country international code.

On the other hand, he shall have access the same way to those services (voicemail access; balance query; call center; etc.) he normally dials to through a short code, as well as other short codes at the visited networks for global services (911; firemen; advertising; etc.).

Additionally, services -such as Voicemail- requiring CLI (Caller Line Identity) shall receive this information, without requesting the user to enter his own telephone number and his PIN (which many times he does not know).

Finally, optimizations are incorporated to the network in order to avoid unnecessary international traffic and thus, for example, receiving voicemail messages without having to pay for international roaming costs.
