Welcome Roamer solution allows generating larger revenues for out/inbound roaming, improving at the same time the operator's image.

Product description

FOCUS is a welcomer roamer solution developed by IPcom Technologies enabling the operator to provide information to both inbound and outbound roamers through personalized messages according to the Roamer's origin-destination, making his stay at the visited network easier.

It offers the operator a way to generate and distribute information, which will be sent to users at the moment of registering at the visited networks.

Messages can be personalized according to the roamer's origin-destination, and also according to his commercial plan.

In the case of inbound roamers, a 'welcome to the visited network' message is delivered in the roamer's native language, containing relevant information for the traveler, such as: available services, how to access them, tariff information, dialling information, weather forecast, type of exchange, etc.

The method for sending information can be SMS messages or using WAP PUSH. For GSM networks, an USSD session can be also started, ordering all the available information in menus, allowing even making on-line transactions.

FOCUS analyzes the registration process of mobiles visiting other networks in order to determine the region and network of the operator being visited. The system also has intelligent logic guaranteeing the roamer is not invaded or saturated.
